Walk to Make a Difference!
Montreal Walks for Mental Health 2010 will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2010. The 5 KM walk will begin at 11:00 AM at Square Phillips (600 Cathcart) in downtown Montreal. The event takes place rain or shine. Mandatory check-in is at 10:0O AM on site. Following the success of Montreal Walks for Mental Health in 2009, which attracted more than 600 participants, two Montreal hospitals, two CSSS’s (Health and Social Service Centres), as well as several community organizations have joined together once again to organize this year’s event. One in five Canadians will be affected by mental illness during their lifetime.
