What to expect

The Digital Marketing & Graphics Associate, an integral part of the Marketing and Communications Department, is responsible for managing coding and graphics-related aspects of Ometz’s websites and email marketing, including CMS management, HTML and CSS, WordPress, multimedia/ interactive content and database maintenance and analytics. The Digital Marketing & Graphics also provides graphic design support for a wide variety of digital promotional assets. 

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
  • Update and maintain organization’s websites, related digital applications and communications (includes email marketing, landing pages, online event and e-Commerce forms and member surveys)
  • Generate and deploy all email marketing (using Constant Contact and custom code) in keeping with organizational and initiative branding
  • Build and optimize marketing automation workflows and increase donor engagement
  • Work with existing digital suppliers and internal project owners on production of custom web/digital builds, analytics, and alignment with CRM
  • Develop in-house graphic design for related marcom digital and social media platforms
  • Support the team’s online campaign efforts with strategic and technical planning
  • Ensure best practices and enhanced digital conversion across all channels: developing web style standards and guidelines; researching new technology options; tracking and measuring website performance including cohesive UTM planning, setting up pixels and more
  • Optimize Google Analytics with custom reports, dashboards, goals and funnels, as well as produce monthly reports with actionable insights
  • Create graphic design assets as needed 
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Web Design development or in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably working with multiple websites
  • Solid ability to work in both French and English
  • Ability to interface with a number of constituents in cross-functional teams and external suppliers
  • Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, WordPress and Constant Contact
  • Experience working with CRMs an asset, particularly in the not-for-profit sector
  • Experience with Google Analytics and custom reporting
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Access
  • Well versed in design software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks
