Ometz, in collaboration with CSSS Cavendish and Cummings Jewish Centre for seniors, is offering a certificate program towards becoming a senior’s companion. Training modules are led by industry professionals and include: • transferring training and mobility skills • working with frail seniors • nutrition • mental health • recreation/cognitive stimulation • CPR training (certificate provided) • dealing with family dynamics • communication skills • job search techniques
