Exceptionally this year in recognition of Federation CJA’s Centennial, Ometz is not holding our annual event as there is so much already going on. Instead, we are presenting our first and only No Show A Chance to Shine Gala. Wait a minute, did you just say not to show up? That’s right!

Unlike past years, there will not be a big party to attend, no suits or dresses to buy and you can cancel that hair appointment. That’s because Ometz is not busy hiring a caterer and we are not putting on a show. We are busy helping thousands of children and youth in need—and you can help by lending your support. All from the comfort of your own home.

And with zero event expenses, 100% of your donation will have an immediate impact on the lives of children, families and our community.

Last year, we raised an impressive $460,000, and Ometz was able to introduce a number of new initiatives focused on providing our youth with more promising futures. Your donations have funded a specialized youth department, after school homework and mentoring programs, services for young adults with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities, as well as literacy courses. We are providing our younger population with employability skills and work internships, and have developed anti-bullying tools and workshops.
