Message to our Friends,

From the Board, the staff, volunteers and clients of Ometz, we thank you for your kind support during these most challenging and unprecedented times. We appreciate and share your concern for our clients and our staff.

Our first priority is to continue to meet the needs of our most vulnerable clients.

We are providing essential services to the most vulnerable in our community and psychosocial supports to all clients to help reduce anxiety. A community hotline has also been established as a means to provide basic information, comfort and direction. The number is (514) 734-1411.

The well-being of our clients, staff and community is and will continue to be our main concern. As long as it is safe and possible, we will continue to provide on-site essential services for our most vulnerable. We are currently doing this by alternating small teams at Cummings House while the balance of our staff is working from home, providing support and back-up.

We will stay in touch and provide regular updates.

Above all, we look forward to getting through this difficult period together, safe and sound, as a community.
