Ometz is hosting the 42nd edition of Cocktails and Conversation, the must-attend recruiting event on May 29, 2013 at the Gelber Conference Centre. Geared specifically towards employers, Cocktails and Conversation is a prime venue to network and set up interviews with up to 25 job-ready candidates interviewed and screened by the Employment specialist team at Ometz. Held as a 5 à 7, Cocktails and Conversation is a wonderful opportunity for local business community leaders to contribute significantly to the growth of the job market and talent retention in Montreal.
Traditionally held in the spring and fall, Cocktails and Conversation has featured high-profile keynote speakers such as Quebec Premier Lucien Bouchard, President of ALDO Group International Norman Jaskolka, Digital marketing guru Mitch Joel, MP Justin Trudeau and Astral Radio Brand Director, Mark Bergman. This year’s guest speaker is Jonathan Goodman, President & CEO, Paladin Labs.

This year’s Special Guest Speaker: Jonathan Goodman, President & CEO, Paladin Labs.
Prior to founding Paladin, Mr. Goodman was the Vice President of Business Development at Pharmascience Inc., where he led Pharmascience’s successful efforts to in-license new products and develop key corporate alliances with such companies as Eli Lilly, Schering, Novartis, Berlex, Alcon and Fournier. In addition, Mr. Goodman was a consultant with Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, and worked in brand management for Procter & Gamble. Mr. Goodman holds a B.A. with Great Distinction from McGill University and the London School of Economics with 1st Class Honours. He also holds an LL.B. and M.B.A. from McGill and is a member of the Bars of New York and Massachusetts.
