Dr. Yona LunskyYona Lunsky is the Director of the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She has been studying mental health and developmental disabilities for over twenty years and has published over 200 articles on the topic. A clinical psychologist and a sibling, Yona brings her passion for this community into her research and education efforts, working closely with people with disabilities and families to design innovative approaches to mental health care and evaluate their impact. |

Paul KarwatskyPaul began his career at CTV Montreal in 2005 as a researcher. He soon moved up to on-air reporting, covering such stories as the de la Concorde overpass collapse, the Dawson College shooting and its aftermath, as well as a series of federal and provincial elections at a time when minority governments meant a very tumultuous period in Quebec and Canadian politics. In 2009, Paul began anchoring CTV Weekend News at 6pm with co-anchor Tarah Schwartz, as well as Late News at 11:30 pm. In January 2012, Paul was named co-anchor of CTV Montreal's Noon News and flagship 6pm Evening News, alongside veteran broadcaster Mutsumi Takahashi. In 2020, Paul left the television business to advocate for autism with Giant Steps Montreal where he now serves as Head of Communications and Marketing. Paul has two young children. |

Dr. Tara FlanaganTara Flanagan is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University. She also served as the Chair of the Joint-Board Senate Subcommittee on Persons with Disabilities, recommending university policy and promoting a more inclusive environment at McGill. She is the Director of SPARC (Social Policy, Advocacy, Research, Community), a research team whose mandate is to promote social inclusion among individuals with disabilities by emphasizing self-determination, community, and a shared responsibility for successful outcomes. Her scholarly interests and research grants are in the areas of social inclusion, transition from school to the community, self-determination, and quality of life among individuals with various types of disabilities and among other equity-seeking groups. |
