What is your work position and how long have you been working at Ometz?

I have been working at Ometz for just over 5 years as the Manager of the School Department.

What are your day-to-day activities?

My main role is to help manage the team of school workers who work in Jewish Day Schools and other private schools in Montreal. Working alongside a team of supervisors in the department, our professional staff receive ongoing professional development and guidance around the latest research in the fields of psycho education, psychology and social work.

What can school communities expect from Ometz School Services?

We ensure that school communities (children and youth, families and school personnel) get the supports needed to facilitate the educational goals and psychosocial well-being of their students. Schools can expect the highest quality of professionals responding to the needs of students and their families.

How will Ometz School Services evolve in the future?

The Ometz School Service department is fast becoming the go to resource for School Administrators and professionals requiring consultation and training. We see this trend only growing as we strive to meet the changing demands of schools and develop our staff as well rounded professionals with a diverse set of skills.
