One in five Canadians will be affected by mental illness in their lifetimes.
Montreal Walks for Mental Health, now in its’ 4th year, continues to promote public awareness of mental health issues and dispel the negative impact of stigma and discrimination. This year, Montreal Walks for Mental Health will take place on Sunday, October 14th 2012, departing from Phillips Square at the corner of Ste-Catherine and Union at 11 a.m. An organizing committee comprised of representatives of hospitals, CSSSS’s, community organizations and service users have once again joined together to host this important event. Agence Ometz is a founding member of the Montreal Walks organizing committee and, as always, we are very excited to be involved in the planning of this year’s walk!!
