Mental Health Support
The Ometz Mental Health Support team offers support for adults living with autism or mild intellectual challenges and recovery-oriented services in collaboration with public sector and community partners. With Ometz, these individuals can access a mental health support network that helps you develop your strengths and pursue your goals.
Our mental health support services include:
- Individual support—including supportive counselling, regular phone calls and home visits—to help them navigate day-to-day life.
- Social and education programs to help the client reach their personal and career goals.
- Workshops, outings and events – to help individuals build community and make connections
- Special care trust program in collaboration with the Jewish Community Foundation – For families seeking help to set up a financial and service plan for a relative living with mental illness.
- Administered Funds program – to help manage a person’s finances.
