About Ometz

Agence Ometz is a human service agency offering a range of services that support people to reach their full potential while strengthening the vitality of the Montreal Jewish community and the broader Montreal community. We have been empowering individuals and families, and helping them to thrive, for over 160 years.

From rapid crisis response, counselling and employment assistance, to programs for newcomers, families and young adults, we use a holistic, wraparound approach to well-being. We meet people where they are at, working together to find strategies and tools to help them move forward with confidence.

Last year alone, we reached 14,000 people from a wide range of backgrounds. We deliver accessible, confidential and personalized services. Our team members are professional, responsive, compassionate, engaged, inspiring and sensitive to the cultural and linguistic needs of our diverse community.
