one: an evening of introspection, prompted writing, supportive sharing, and

emotions in a way that will make a challenging situation better (or at the

Baking Club's next meet-up will be to make sugar cookies! Ricki will be
leading us to make her favourite recipe together.
All season long, members of our Ometz, L'Annexe: the Ometz Centre for Young
Adults, and Cummings Centre community have been taking care of and enjoying

tomatoes, peppers, kale, celery, herbs, and more!

L'Annexe: the Ometz Centre for Young Adults offers a variety of creative arts
therapy groups throughout the year, and we are so excited to announce our next
one: art therapy with our L'Annexe Art Therapist, Carmel!

BIG NEWS: We're going on an outing in the great outdoors! You are invited to
join us on our very first L'Annexe group hike up Mont Royal. Don't let the
word "hike" deter you, we'll be taking a leisurely walk up the paved walkways
on the mountain & going at a pace that's comfortable for the whole group.
During these difficult times, many of us are struggling. Agence Ometz, in
collaboration with BJEC, Federation CJA and PJ Library invite parents of
Jewish children to join us for a discussion about **how to cope with stress
and anxiety for both your child(ren) and yourself.** Led by Ometz mental
health professionals, this Zoom workshop will be geared to parents of older
children, and will include topics such as social media, fear of going to
school, dealing with antisemitism, and parental anxiety.

Of course our October Baking Club meetup had to have a pumpkin theme! Join us
on Monday the 30th from 4-6pm in the kitchen to bake some pumpkin spice
cookies and hang out. Anyone aged 16 to 35 is welcome to join us\; we provide
all necessary supplies here for you.
